Intricate King-sized Wood Headboard

I picked this up from a garage sale with the intention of turning it into a bench using the tutorial from "The Lettered Cottage" {here}. Somehow, it found its way to my storage unit, garage, carport, and then back on my radar for a nice coat of cream paint. Here is how it sets now with one coat of primer:
